Hydrogen Iron Project Tracker

A consolidated view of current and announced DRI, HBI, hydrogen iron, green iron and near-zero iron projects — capturing technology routes, capacities, energy inputs and project maturity to support transparent monitoring of the global iron transition.

The Hydrogen Iron Project Tracker is being developed to track current and announced direct reduced iron (DRI), hot briquetted iron (HBI), hydrogen iron, green iron and near-zero iron projects across all regions. It aims to provide a consistent, evidence-based reference for policymakers, industry and researchers monitoring the deployment of low-emissions iron production capacity worldwide.

This tracker is currently a structural placeholder demonstrating the intended data model and interface. Validated project data has not yet been integrated. The full dataset will be developed and verified in collaboration with Mission Possible Partnership.
